In 1956, a small woodworking machinery workshop named Weihai YuSheng Metal&Wood Products Cooperative Store was founded. The products at that time were hoe, sickle, spade etc.
In 1958, the name of the workshop changed to Weihai Fenglin Machinery Repairing Store.
In 1966, the name of the workshop changed to Weihai Haopo Farm Tools Plant. The workshop was capable of producing Brick-Tile Machine and Wheal Threshing Machine.
In 1980, after acquiring some small machinery workshops, the Weihai Woodworking Machinery Plant was formed. The plant was able to produce universal woodworking machinery, ie, planer machine etc.
In 1993, Weihai Woodworking Machiney Group Co., Ltd was formed. It is the most important period in the history of BSY Group. At this stage, the group started to develop woodworking machinery, metal cutting machinery, motors etc. And the Group entered the “Top 500 China Corporations” in machinery industry.
In August,2003, after undergoing restructuring of enterprise, the group was re-named as Shandong DongWei Woodworking Machinery Co., Ltd. The registered capital was nine million six hundred and thirty-five thousand RMB.
In May, 2006, BSY Industry Co.,Ltd.was finally formed. The registered capital increased up to thirty million RMB. The Group has four subsidiary companies (Weihai DongWei CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd; Weihai BSY Co., Ltd; Weihai BaiShanLin Wood Products Co., Ltd; Shandong B.S.Y. Int’l Trade Co., Ltd )and three sino-foreign joint ventures.
